Community Support at Work
A Value to the Community

Taking marine science education and making it a fun, personal experience for kids and adults only can happen with the help and support of our sponsors, partners and friends in business and the marine science communities. They give us time, resources and money.

Corporate sponsors help us to achieve our mission to enhance the understanding of the value and fragility of the local and global marine environment through research, education and personal experiences. They provide us with funding that benefit the educational programs of The Pier Aquarium.

For the past two decades, we have welcomed more than 4 million people and more than 250,000 students in scheduled education programs. Our visitors come from all over the world and our local neighborhoods to enjoy our award-winning programs.

Thanks to our corporate sponsors, we can create new, exciting award-winning exhibits featuring current research, and innovative educational programs that add the word "play" to our "FISH-ful Saturday" family events, school study trips and comunity outreach activities.

These funds have enabled us to bring to life  timely exhibits about our Earth environment, bring a traveling touch tank to schools to teach pupils about marine animals and how to care for them and develop unique, ocean science education outreach activities for residents in underserved comunities.

The support of our sponsors helps bring to aquarium visitors - young and old - first-hand and up close, award-winning experiences of our Tampa Bay marine environment and the world ocean.
